The first button is functional. Please check the measurements in the listing photos, as I found the sweater to run slightly small. The sweater is in excellent condition, having been worn once. It has no pilling, holes, stains, or other flaws I can see. The sweater's care instructions indicate dry cleaning, but I washed the sweater by hand in cold water and laid flat to dry with perfect results.
