Def an IYKYK situation. They are beautiful, but most importantly functional and comfortable. If I’m going to pay this much for a shoe it better be amazing, and it is. ah5141 I love these loafers and I’m interested in them but do they have great traction for driving on the gas pedal and are they comfortable for walking?

bsmith034 @ah5141 these are very soft and forgiving as far as walking. I do not like a stiff shoe, these are like butter, hand made Italian. The rubber part on the bottom of the sole is a new thing for these loafers, the older versions had just a slick leather sole.

bsmith034 The actress/model Emily Ratajkowski lit the fire under this shoe when she wore them the first time. They have been sold out every time a new run comes out ever since. The Oxblood color is the most perfect. I am obsessed with this shoe.

ah5141 @bsmith034 would it be possible if you can model these shoes on the gas pedal? I had surgery on my right ankle and I’m looking for broken in shoes to drive with and I am trying to convince my Husband that I really want these. Also I really do like these shoes a lot. Driving the soccer van with 5 kids can be fun sometimes.

bsmith034 @nikkiilana they are called Oxblood in color. Maybe oxblood could be called mahogany. But not bright at all. Some of the older type penny loafers are this color, but were hard & shiny. These are soft leather. I hope that helps with the description.

bsmith034 @nikkiilana I’ll try to explain the fit…they are soft and smooth, not a hard shoe. JH states they mould to your foot over time.
