Kigu Compact Ultra Luxury Vintage MCM Vanity Gift Set - Unused!


A gorgeous unused vintage Kigu vanity set! This charming late 1950s set is presented in the original luxon clad case which is decorated with a Kigu Ltd. patented pattern mottling finish which gives the faux leather the appearance of real leather. Such attention to detail! The contents of the case are even more delightful. A matching loose foundation / powder compact and lipstick holder and portable purse comb rest on custom made recesses clad in crimson velvet. The interior lid of the case is lined with champagne coloured satin which has KIGU OF LONDON printed in gilt lettering.

 A beautiful high end vintage 1950s boxed Kigu set containing a gorgeous powder compact, portable purse comb, and lipstick case - all unused and in excellent condition. The box is lined in satin and dark red velvet and the top layer can be pulled out to leave a red velvet lined case that can also be used as a jewelry box. 
The compact is an exquisite engine turned design - very attractive! 
This vintage vanity set is encased within a cream colored textured hard body Luxon (imitation leather ) case edged in gold metal all around. It is high quality and well made and has a heavy high quality feel. The original 1950’s price of this set was approximately 80 shillings which is equivilent $103 US today. So this was a luxury gift set at the time it was produced. 

Condition is Excellent. All items are unused. It is very unusual to find such a set in such good shape and fully useable now.
