In my house Corningware was a staple of everyday cooking...not just my immediate family but for all of my relatives and family friends.
My family is from upstate NY so another fun note is that when we would drive to visit them we would pass thru Corning NY. We has stopped at the Corning ware glassworks which was incredibly fun and interesting and would recommend a visit if youre in the area to see where these great pans come from!
Corning ware's passed down from adults to kids and different parts of our family had different containers.
This dish was owned by family - I currently have a tiny house and in turn, not tons of space for every item I desire and love so I'm hoping to pass these along for a new family's tradition.
This particular item is called a P-81-B saucepan & it holds up to one pint of material and it makes a heck of a good skillet meal or fun all in one omelets which you can eat right out of the dish
The design is called 'floral bouquet' and there are zero chips or dings.
The lid is heavy pyrex glass & it can easily fit or cover items in your other pans or Corning Ware dishes - excellent to flatten over a grilled cheese sandwich too :)
This skillet/ saucepan can go anywhere - microwave, range and dishwasher safe.
