My “Full-Time Job” 🐾💜🐾. My Sweet Baby, Gracie. It really is a 2nd F.T. Job 💜 In addition to training an adolescent puppy, we are training for Service Dog Work. Gracie is only 18 mos old and we had a late start as she was an older “barn dog” when I found her, but it she is doing great for her age and we appear to be right on track. I’m so proud of her. Blood, Sweat, and Tears. (Literally…) (sitting on the shelves or in small spaces trains her to sit/lie down under a table or chair or to travel by my feet on an airplane.) *So, when you see my closet randomly pop up as “closed,” it is because I am often too exhausted from training during the week (in addition to working my paying job for an income.). She is worth every second of my time whether it is positive or a negative moment. This is also the reason I have the unlisted “death pile” as my friend @taraboothbee and I like to call it. In my case, it’s more like the “death pile” room! 🤣 Today 6/6/24 we navigated the VERY busy & VERY loud entryway and just inside Costco. She did so good. I was so proud of her for it being her first time there. She LOVES to “work” and if it’s been a few days since we’ve worked in public she will run to me in the yard in heel position and just sit and stare at me until I give her a task to do. She is the smartest & the sweetest 🐾❤️🐾 *Clearly she is not for sale, nether are any of the photos in this slide, I have to list it as for sale for it to be shared/seen.)
