Victorian Mourning Floral C-Clasp Gutta Percha Pin Brooch

Very pretty old brooch representing a flower in gutta percha jewelry typical of the Victorian era in the Art Nouveau style. Please note that this piece does show some wear which is not uncommon for a piece that is over 100 years old. Also the C Clasp is in good working condition and it is nicely executed with lots of detail. Interesting fact, gutta percha is a natural product from Malaysian trees and is used today in root canal procedures. The measurements are 1 7/8" x 3/4". This is a sweet piece of jewelry and would make a nice addition to any jewelry collection.
