This is a vintage green Frankoma pottery soup bowl. The rim is adorned with Native American Thunderbirds and is in a southwestern style. Measures about 7.75” across. Frankoma pottery was founded in 1933 by John Frank. Frankoma comes from his last name, plus the last three letters of Oklahoma. The pottery was crafted from locally dug Oklahoma Ada clay.
