Evans Croc Purse Vintage 1950’s Marilyn Monroe LIKE, lipstick Compact Lighter

Vintage rare 50's Evans Elegance brown structured alligator/crocodile handbag. This is a beautiful handbag! It is the same brand/model as Marilyn Monroe’s that sold at auction in 2016; see photo. The accessories and purse are shown in the Evans advertisement photo. The advertisement accessories are true and original to this bag. If you’re familiar with vintage accessories you will know that there are slight differences or variations sometimes…like the signed Evans’ compact and lighter are “croc” and the Evans lipstick case is golden brass in a square “riser-top” design instead of the round plain brown calf leather wrap in Marilyn’s auction. It has the Evans insignia imprint on the bottom. You can see in the vintage advertisement where they offered smooth calf skin or the upgraded, more expensive Alligator accessories and the price difference at the time , in the 1950’s. The purse is lined in a pretty brown fabric. It has multiple inside pockets and comes with a compact, lipstick, lighter and comb. Everything has the Evans Logo. The handle does have wear with some slight splits but it is still sturdy. It is is in very good to excellent vintage condition. It is approx 9 1/2L x 8 1/2H x 3 1/2W. The strap has an approx 5 in drop. This set is from the 1950’s and you won’t find it anywhere for sale! The price is firm.
