How can I make a counter offer on this and still keep the reduced shipping?

@kjc48 The pot weighs 5 pounds as is, so the weight of shipping will make it heavier. I can either take an offer on this or I can give you the break on shipping (not charge you for over 5 pounds). I am not able to do both. Hope that helps.

Is this as heavy as like a cast iron dutch oven weight? I have one of those, and I am 76 with a bad leg and repaired fractured back, and it is too hard for me to handle it if I have a pot of soup or full of water. I am trying to find something lighter but still that size. The pot is beautiful but I don't want to end up in the same boat.

@kjc48 no it isn't as heavy as a cast iron pan. The bottom is thicker than the rest of it, but I didn't have a problem using it when it was full of food. I am disabled with a bad back so I hear you on not wanting heavy items.

Thanks for your response. Amazing how you have to shop with physical limitations in mind. Getting old is not for sissies. Tell me how to do the not over 5 pound thing. I don't know how to make the offer doing that

@kjc48 I think I just sent you an offer for $22 but no discounted shipping. Would that work for you? I haven't added anything to pay for over weight. So I will handle the extra shipping. Then I think you don't have to pay for shipping.

works for me. I will see if I can find that and accept. Thanks a lot!!! Have a great rest of the week and weekend.

I found it, but it does not give me the option to accept

@kjc48 whaaaa? I don't have any idea about that. Give it a few minutes and try again is my only advice.

@kjc48 - ok I just looked and for some reason the offer didn't go to you. Can you send me an offer for $22? Maybe that will work.

Yes I can

I did but the shipping came up wrong

@kjc48 I think we might have a misunderstanding. I am not going to charge you the extra shipping cost for the pot weighing over 5 pounds, but I do have to have some shipping reimbursement. So you would have to pay for the original shipping. I apologize if I was confusing.

That's fine. I just don't think it accepted the offer because It did not ask for payment info
