Antique Art Nouveau Sterling Silver William Kerr #1307 Flowing Lady Brooch Pin 1890's-1910 William B. Kerr & Co. established in Newark, New Jersey in 1855, and produced pieces in the neo-Renaissance as well as Art Nouveau Style. They also Produced Flatware, Vanity items, and other wares. William B Kerr & Co. was acquired by the well known Gorham Manufacturing Corporation in 1906, but still continued to operate as a separate entity in Newark before being fully absorbed by Gorham in 1927; where all production was moved to Providence, Rhode Island. This is a gorgeous piece in beautiful condition. It does show signs of wear, and has a soft naturally developed patina- (which I have chosen not to disturb) Clasp works well.
