I’ve been there done that in my two years here. I started out on December 14 2017 and took a long break between June 2018 - March 2019. It’s been fun. You’ll learn, meet awesome people. Party host, love notes, ratings - one will grow beyond that. At the end what matters is integrity!

I have a question for you, and I see you answered in your 1st paragraph, but I don't understand how it helps them.
I see quite a few people follow me, then a couple of days later it shows in my news that the same person is following me again. They never share any of my items, so I stopped sharing their stuff. It is really annoying to me cause I waste my time share their stuff until I finally remember who they are.
I think I'm going to block them?

@fishingfund Hi Mike,
There’s a follow game that many Poshers play on Poshmark. The game hosts select 5-6 ‘secret’ Poshers and share their accounts. Players then follow the followers of these ‘secret’ Poshers to grow their own following.

@fishingfund To ensure they appear on the followers list, participants re-follow the ‘secret’ Poshers, as Poshmark only displays the most recent 2,000 followers of any given user. By doing this, they increase their chances of being followed by other players, since the game revolves around following the followers of the ‘secret’ Poshers.

Thank you for posting this useful information. As a relative newcomer, I can use all the help I can get. Sometimes I see sellers mention "no low balls" in their closet or listing. I'm not entirely sure what is considered low ball. I don't want to piss off or insult the seller, but want to get the best price I can get. To me the best case scenario is when I can get a fair price reduction and the seller can make a fair profit. Have a great day! 🙂

Just started a short while back. Sales were really good for a month or so. Now nothing. What did I do wrong? lol . Also how do you put these ads on your page? I don’t know how to put these on. Thank you for your post here. Very nice of you ! ❤️

@heart_of_viana Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment! As a seller, I can share a little perspective on the “no low balls” note you often see. Generally, a “low ball” offer is one that’s far below the asking price—usually 50% off or more—especially when the item is already priced fairly.

@heart_of_viana It’s also worth keeping in mind that sellers don’t take home the full sale price. Platforms typically charge around 20% in fees, and we also have to account for year-end taxes. On top of that, sellers put in time for sourcing, photographing, listing, packaging, and shipping. That’s why offers that are too low can feel discouraging.

@heart_of_viana That said, reasonable offers are always welcome! A good guideline is 10–30% off, depending on the item’s condition, demand, and how long it’s been listed. The best deals happen when buyers and sellers meet in the middle—so you get a fair reduction, and the seller can still make a little profit. Respectful offers are always appreciated. 😊

@bobbisue_1_98 Hi there! Don’t get discouraged—sales can definitely ebb and flow, and it’s not always something you’re doing “wrong.” A lot depends on seasonality, how active you are on the app, and how many new listings you’re adding. Consistency really helps—sharing daily, listing new items regularly, and sending out offers to likers are great ways to boost visibility.

As for the post you’re asking about—this isn’t an ad 😊 I just created it like a regular listing, but instead of selling an item I used a graphic I made in Canva/Typorama and added helpful text. You can do the same by uploading your own image and writing out your info in the description. It’s a fun way to share tips or promos with your closet followers!
You’re doing great already—keep going and you’ll see sales pick up again. ❤️
