Gorgeous vintage handmade quatrefoil shaped cloisonné box with hinged lid from early 20th century China. Royal blue enamel interior with gold accents. Very collectible! Ornate Asian cloisonné box in the shape of four leaf clover, which probably served as a jewelry trinket box, tobacco or tea snuff caddy, or pill box. Beautiful enameled blue and white herons dive through the air on a black background with gold colored brass cloud pattern amid green leaf and reddish brown bark bonsai trees. The interior and bottom are a deep royal blue colored enamel. The brass is bright and looks like gold. Raised brass relief detail on lid. Not your average cloisonné trinket box.
