Just found out this book is selling for $75 and up elsewhere so I had to raise the price...still a good deal, especially since this is a first edition!
First edition hard cover of Dracula: Prince of Many Faces: His Life and Times by Radu R Florescu and Raymond T McNally from 1989 and published by Little, Brown and Co. The real person behind the myth of Dracula was a 15th century prince named Vlad Dracula who lived in Romania and was extremely violent and bloodthirsty.
In Excellent vintage condition with one call out - the middle of the book is very open along the spine, like a crack, but no pages are loose or missing...you can see it at the end of the video on the photo page. No rips or tears, no writing inside, no dog eared pages...see video of clean pages. Inside flaps of dust cover shows some discoloration from age but that is to be expected with a vintage book. Otherwise looks great!
Book is about 9.5 x 6.5 inches and 245 pages, plus an index. Includes a few black and white photos.
Prince Dracula was a legend in his own time for successfully holding back a Turkish invasion but mostly for committing crimes that were excessive in nature and number. When his grave was found to be empty, the myth of Dracula took hold.
