MIB 1950s MCM Light Up Tree Top Angel Made in Japan Retro Vintage Christmas

Great tree top angel from days of Christmas past. In perfect condition, in original gold cardboard box printed “Made in Japan”. Dating from the 1950s, this 8” angel has a metallic gold dress, transparent wings with gold trim, and a gold halo. She holds two light-up “candles” ; there is another light in her head, two behind her, and 5 more under her dress, which also covers the metal piece that secures it to the tree. She appears to have never been used, but there are no additional bulbs in the box. The plastic on the front of the box is in poor condition, but aside from two small tears above the plastic, the box is intact. Consistent smoke- and pet-free environment.
