Very Good Condition, Pre-owned, Vintage 1970's - Framed Bargello Needlepoint. This piece is stunning! The modern pattern is striking and appears gives an optical illusion of being almost 3-D. Done in tones of green and brown with a silver metal contemporary frame. The artists initials and date are in the bottom right corner (RRJ 1977). Bargello is a type of needlepoint embroidery consisting of upright flat stitches laid in a mathematical pattern to create motifs. The piece measures roughly 15" x 16". The needlepoint is in very good condition, no stains, rips, tear or foul odors. The metal frame does have some scratches. Easel not for sale. Please see photos for details.
