H.M. Lindenthal and Sons Chicago - Tails c. 1920s

H. M. Lindenthal & Sons was founded in 1906 by Henry M. Lindenthal in Chicago, Illinois. Its industry was clothing marketed under "The L System" name and its place of operations remained in Chicago, Illinois. It existed until at least 1930. This black and small sized overcoat with tails has expected signs of wear for a garment over 100 years old. I have been unable to find any other examples of surviving H.M Lindenthal and Sons of Chicago L. System clothing online and this may well be a very rare piece.
