Avon Christmas Bell 1978 Porcelain, Currier & Ives

Here is a lovely porcelain bell from Avon, featuring a beautiful Currier & Ives winter scene on the front. It is plain white on the back. There is a gold rim where the bell portion meets the handle. The handle is also white porcelain. This bell was made in Japan and was awarded to Avon Representatives for superior sales achievements. There is a scalloped design along the bottom, the interior is marked in brown print, "Awarded Exclusively to Avon Representatives copyright Avon Products, Inc. 1978." The clacker is attached by a gold string to a loop inside the bell. The bell is in excellent vintage condition. The porcelain is shiny and free of cracks and chips. There is slight marking on the bottom, where the bell sat on a surface. The gold is complete and shiny. All graphics are complete and colors are accurate. Dimensions: 5 1/4" Tall & 3" diameter at bottom This would be a lovely gift for an Avon collector, a bell collector or anyone who loves Currier & Ives.
