Johnson and Wood jewelers vintage starter set pearls gold chain 14 inches

This is a starter set of pearls from the 1960s from the jeweler Johnson and Wood located in San Francisco. The chain is approximately 14 inches long and appears to be 14 karat gold. There are 17 pearls on the strand. This was meant to be a starter set, perhaps for a child to collect pearls throughout her lifetime Often times one pearl was added at every birthday. This is a very delicate looking set very beautiful, very unique and in its original box never worn.
