This is a Vintage 1920s Bronze Art Deco Evening Bag in the shape of a clam shell with ornate detailing. Purple velvet interior. It is in good Vintage condition. It could be polished, if desired. Approximate dimensions: 5.5" x 5.5" x 3" The foldover Clasp functions, but here's a tip: push the side of the shell inward as you undo the Clasp. Then it will open easily.
