P.S. pay the $50-60 at a good repair shop to add a 1/2 rubber protector on the bottom and even with that do not wear in damp weather and these will last you for a long time just switch asap into sneakers or rainboots and I don’t recommend hiking only smooth cleaner surfaces. Just use them how they are built.
