EUC- bought secondhand but I have never worn. The seams on the front “pockets” are still closed. I am not sure if these are functional pockets or not. It is not immediately obvious when feeling the inside of the jacket. I do not see any tarnish on the buttons. I would describe the color as bright red but it may appear differently in different lights.
