Yes, the footbed is padded. I have several pairs of Butrich shoes & they are very comfortable. These are just a higher heel than I can wear.

I am a size 7.5 or 8. All of my Butrich sandles are size 38 & fit perfectly… but I have also heard that they can run a bit small.
