This early American pattern glass spooner is from 1909 and made by U.S.Glass. The original manufacturer's name for the pattern is Newport, but it is commonly known as Bullseye and Daisy. It is in excellent condition. Very little of the gold around the top is worn off. The green of the bullseyes has very good color. There are no chips or cracks. Almost no wear on the bottom. Some have called this an "open sugar," but the sugar in this pattern requires a lid and does not have the points around the top (as I understand it). It stands about 4.25" tall. Simply a very nice piece of Early American Pattern Glass.
