Short sleeve traditional prairie type dress with ruffle along bodice, neck. Full skirt gathered at waist. Covered zipper down back and long sash that ties from the side of the waist. Excellent condition. Sewn in the early 1980s by the ladies at Sweet Sense Country Store. The store is closed now but you used to be able to see one of the owners in the back corner sitting at her sewing machine or hand sewing a detail. Her unusually large golden retriever would fetch her scissors. Very pretty slate blue fabric with red and white flowers and teal leaves. Feminine without being too precious, pleasing pattern to look at that is not too "busy." Size small. Approximate measurements are: length 44 inches from shoulder to hem, sleeves 13 inches, pit to pit 16 inches, waist 14 inches across for 28 total, from waist to hem skirt is 29 inches, hem is 46 inches across lying flat. Each sash is 36 inches long. If you're looking for an old fashioned dress that you can wear today, this is it.
