Fit: I included the size chart, but it’s about 1” to 1.5” smaller in the chest, as you can see in the measurement photo. The waist has plenty room and aligns to the size chart. And when we stumbled upon these gorgeous waxed cottons from Scottish Halley Stevensons, we knew it was meant to be! Material: Sturdy cotton weave in burgundy with a light and dry water repellant wax finish, also giving it a soft aged appearance. 100 % cotton. Inside: Unlined with cotton tapes at seams. As already mentioned, this is indeed a version of our No Shit Sherlock Coat but unlined and with the addition of classic trench coat details such as an attached hood that can be tightened with drawstrings, bellows pockets with buttoned pocket flaps, straps for tightening the cuffs and a clever belt that can be tied around the waist, hang secured in the back, or be removed altogether. The dramatic little cape is detachable and whilst on, hides the smooth shoulders of the coat.
