The loops with snaps on each side of interior are for holding your keys or pepper spray etc for easy retrieval. Also included is an interior pouch that has d rings that can hook onto the interior snaps of the purse. It does have some normal wear on the corners, but the interior looks good. The color in the photo is a little different, but pouch and bag are same exact color. The interior bag photos were taken with natural light available. Purse is dark tan, light brown. Hope this helps.
