It does have a drawstring intact in the hood. The drawstring had 2 silver metal tabs on the ends, and they fell off when I washed it. The ends could be tied in knots, left alone, OR I do still have the tabs that I could send along if you're feeling up for the task. They are closed quite tightly, so it would be a bit of a careful task to get them apart to fit the strings back in and pinch them back together.
