carlypalermo @dianakj they are not sweat pants material- its a light jean like feel: I would take a return on these for sure: my mom is a 36 waist and they fit her if that helps

carlypalermo @dianakj from the inseam to the bottom of the pant leg it is 29.5 inches When I stretch the waist laying flat, it goes to 22 inches ! Before stretching it sits at about 14.5 inches/ i added a photo

carlypalermo @dianakj it's more twill than soft cotton. I would have to say, but it is an organic cotton material that is listed, but I wouldn't consider them soft like that now that I have my hands on them for you.
