Black velvet texture and gold bow. Of note, these ears are new but accidentally got a Spot of toothpaste on the front of the right ear. They have been cleaned meticulously with dawn soap and are back to great condition. I have included multiple photos of the area that previously had the toothpaste stain for your review.
