@evaning Hello! The only closure is that magnet. But the way the top closes does make it a bit more secure. I put an 8 pound weight in it, closed and secured it, and turned it upside down. It didn’t open. But with that said, I can’t guarantee that it will stay secure for you on a flight and would hate for everything to spill.
