RARE US Marines Semper Fi Cookie's Tavern Sgt. Wags Sweatshirt South Philly Sz XL. Cookies Tavern (now Tankie's Tavern in South Philadelphia) vintage sweatshirt. Marine Corps sergeant James “Daddy Wags" was the former owner of Cookie’s Tavern at 10th & Oregon Avenue in South Philadelphia for more than 30 years where he hosted an annual Marine Corps birthday celebration every November 10th. Marine Sergeant Wagner served two tours in Vietnam earning numerous decorations and a Purple Heart. Own a piece of USMC history. Front says "Marines Cookie's Tavern Sgt. Wags" and back says "Semper Fi United States Marines". Size XL measures approximately 26" across underarm to underarm and 30" long. This sweatshirt is in excellent clean preowned condition.
