Ultra-lightweight shirting goat suede Helmsman is lined with diamond-quilted, down-proof nylon and along with a curly lamb fleece collar, features beaucoup contrast colored stitching that defines the coat’s architecture. The front closure does double-duty, first, as a zip-front and second, as a series of burnished mahogany toggles that above and over the zipper slip into vegetable tanned lamb loops, themselves anchored in vegetable tanned lamb gussets. Straps near the sleeve ends are fully functional, and vegetable tanned lamb trims the underside of the lapels.
