TAXCO Sterling Silver Grizzly Bear Brooch Pin TAXCO City/Artist code TM-180 MEXICO 925 My Favorite site at the zoo to visit when I was a kid was the Grizzly Bears exhibit. There's something about them that's majestic. Even though they're known and considered to be... well "grizzly and ferocious" I can't imagine I'm only one of few, who sense incredible beauty, love, etc... ya know, all the good stuff even just looking at pictures of them I don't know for sure, but I have a feeling this brooch may have been created with tribute to the Mexican Grizzly; now, sadly extinct as of around 1964. This brooch features incredible artist detailing, and is in beautiful condition with few signs of wear. It does have a bit of patina, and very minor surface scratches, as should be expected. Straight pin bar, and well working clasp. Wonderful collection piece for both Men and Women!
