@mrsd48 - I measured these at 12 inches from the top of the heel to the end of the toe. Then I measured the bottom of the boot heel to the toe at 10 inches. I also tried these on and I’m a true 8.5. I feel like they are a bit roomy. I did a quick Google search and most of what I’m reading says you should size down by about a half a size from your normal (non-athletic) shoe size.
