Antique Glass Utility Boot from 1887 Featured in the Bryce, Higbee & Co. Catalogue of 1887 on Plate 20, Shoe # 246 in Blue of Libby Yalom's "Shoes of Glass" book This one is considered a match safe or a toothpick holder. Boot on a round base with a fine cut pattern in the glass on the underside Inside of the rim of the boot does contain some very minor flea bites - not unusual considering its age.
