kaiju_disco Hi! I’m new to Poshmark and still confused about some things! I liked this post just to kind of keep it on the back burner of maybe I want to buy it, but then you made me an offer, is that how it normally works when you “like” an item? Does the seller see it as means I for *sure* want to buy the item? Ie is it rude to heart an item for sale and then not buy it? (Sorry for the question but I noticed u had a star by your band so thought u prob know the ropes💖)

kaiju_disco Ps. As it turns out i actually kind of DO want to buy this shirt but I noticed it’s 3T for girls….. I wanted it for a 3 year old boy but I know some brands the girls clothes are way smaller than the boys but others the sizes are almost interchangeable, do u think it would fit a 3 yo boy (he’s pretty average sized lol)

korreywilson @kaiju_disco Hello, Welcome to Poshmark. When you heart an item sellers just see you might be interested and make an offer to hopefully sell the item. It’s definitely not rude or wrong to heart any item. I do the same thing as well. It’s a great way to keep track of items you are thinking about. I’m happy to answer any questions you might have…to the best of my ability 😊

korreywilson @kaiju_disco One thing I will say is when the seller makes an offer it’s only good for 24 hours. The seller cannot make the same offer again for at least 3 months. They would have to reduce the price again and sometimes they won’t do that. So if an offer expires and you want the item later you can make an offer to the seller. But if you make an offer it’s binding. So offer carefully. Hope this helps and happy hearting and poshing. 😊 Korrey

korreywilson Sizing is definitely tricky. I can take some measurements for you if that would help. I cannot really comment on how it would fit. Another important note about Poshmark is they do not accept returns for sizing issues. Just FYI. 😊

kaiju_disco @korreywilson wow thank you so much for all this information truly! I don’t know why I’m struggling to learn the ropes haha! (I was very close to falling for some scams when I first made my account, one i actually did fall for.) I do now see that when I go to your offer it says expires in”13 hours” so what you said makes sense….

kaiju_disco @korreywilson You mentioned PM won’t accept returns for sizing issues, I saw this posted somewhere else & I’m still slightly confused, does this just mean if someone buys an item and says “it’s too small” they can’t return it? But if that’s a rule couldn’t they just lie and say oh “it’s not what I was expecting”? Genuinely curious about this as a busy mom & am not looking forward to the idea of ppl buying and returning stuff all the time a la amazon….

korreywilson @kaiju_disco My pleasure 😊 there is a learning curve to Poshmark, all new things actually, but Poshmark can be difficult to figure out. I’m still learning about it. 😂 So yes, people could lie about condition or not as described being the reason to return something when really it’s because it doesn’t fit. I really haven’t had much of that, but it does happen.

korreywilson @kaiju_disco It really helps if you are wanting to sell items to document condition well and even again before you ship items. Unfortunately that can be time consuming and kinda take the fun out of it. I love to shop and I started Poshmark so I could keep shopping 😂.
