greyshelter I’m sorry if I am being stupid; I can see it could easily be 14 tall, but where is the other 14 dimension? I’m looking for a small rucksack and many that I’ve inspected are 24 liters which is too big for my needs. I’m hoping to find something between 15 and 17 liters. FYI: 1 liter = 61 cubic inches.

greyshelter Try going to the bottom left seam and then measuring toward the front of the pack. Then measure across the seam which is the pack’s back bottom and finally from where the three seams converge, up to the top of the pack. Those three numbers will allow me to compute the number of liters.

greyshelter Excellent and most helpful pictures. I am very much obliged to you. It will be a perfect size for me. I have ordered. 1) do not rush to ship, I’ve got a lot of snow here to melt before I go hiking. 2) do not worry about fancy packing in a box. Roll it up and squash it into a convenient padded bag. It will arrive just fine.
