This is a pair of antique Reinhard Moller bisque figurines from 19th century, probably 1890’s. They have his mark carved into the underside (R Moller fc, which means he himself did the mold and painting) and they have the number stamp of the mold used inside the bottom (see pics, 5 of 500). Moller was a famous teacher of sculpture in Germany, his attention to detail is amazing, depicting the rich artistic history of the pieces. These busts are large, about 13” tall and 8” at widest angle. The boy is in perfect condition, but for some wear and a small stain at bottom. The girl is also in good condition, but for some of the rose leaves missing on her hat. Fantastic condition for their age. They are 4 lbs each. They are perfect for those that appreciate the beauty of antique porcelain and German artistry! Sold as is, no significant chips, repairs, cracks or crazing. Priced accordingly due to missing leaves on hat.
