so is the area on lower left front a damaged area or just rumpling? Not a hardened area of leather l? Is the handle damage referred to just slught leather abrasion, and the missing stitching?

@stitchmasterkc i took a video, i don't see any tears or missing stitching at base, just wear because it is used. I got it used and was gonna use it for work but my laptop is too big. hope this helps.
