This is a Reinhard Moller bisque girl bust about 13” high. And about 7-8” wide. It is probably from about late 1800’s early 1900’s. In great condition over all, it has a few tiny chips on the bottom and a stain also on bottom of pedestal. The name R Moller is incised into the porcelain bisque on the side of the base. He was a famous sculptor and ceramic teacher in the late 1800’s in Germany. Underneath is a stamped mold number 500 8 along w a tiny initial of artist that painted it in Germany. This is a great figurine for the person that can appreciate the artistry of that era in Germany. Many of the Flowers on the hat were broken off, so I sculpted my own and repaired it. Some say that lessens the worth, I think it completes it. Priced accordingly. Ceramic, bisque antique porcelain figurine busts, statues, handpainted. Sold as is with repairs. I have a matching pair boy/girl in my closet also.
