@neolivetree hi! Without the fabric tag I can’t say I’m 100% sure, but from previous experience with wool coats I’d say it’s definitely a wool or at least wool blend. After doing some research on 80’s Eileen fisher coats, it was noted that wool was a very common fabric used during that time! Hope that kinda helped 🥴
