It may have been a gift to customers or for their employees. Not sure of its history but it’s 100% authentic and had the original authenticity control paper in it. All original paper inserts and address book. You could buy small number stickers to cover the date number since I’m sure it doesn’t match up to this year. The small little pen has dried up so it needs a refill pen (can get refills for cheap). Mine are too long for it. It also has the original address book in it too! Super soft leather!! Few minor scratches on leather but nothing deep. I leather conditioned it well and most scratches came out.
