Vintage Goldette Ornate Jeweled Locket Pill Box Four Strand Gold Chain Necklace This necklace is signed by Goldette and features a jeweled locket/pill box pendant with four strands of gold tone chain. I am not certain what the stones are made of - they could be glass or acrylic. I believe this particular Goldette piece dates around the 1960’s. The chains have two lengths measuring approximately 31.75” and 43.5”. Not including the jump ring, the locket measures approximately 1 15/16” in length, 1.5” in width, and 0.5” in height/thickness. Including the jump ring, the locket measures about 2 2/16” in total length. The pendant is double sided and is modeled after a pocket watch. However, it is empty and acts as a locket. This locket is forced closed by a spring and can snap back to place after opening. The pendant is a hefty piece with beautiful detail. There is some very minor gold plate fading here and there which requires close examining to notice. This vintage Goldette necklace is in beautiful condition with a great quality weight!
