This is a vintage bag in near perfect condition. Back in the ’70s, then president of Cartier Robert Hocq wanted to create a line of products that one simply must have. He coined the phrase “Les Must de Cartier”, and The Must de Cartier bag made its debut in 1973. It quickly became a cult favourite by the ’80s. This was the bag that established the rich shade of burgundy as Cartier’s signature colour, which remains part of the brand’s DNA till today.
