Manufacturer Desc “2020 marks the 100th year since some women were granted the right to vote nationally across the USA, and Alison's Suffragette collection is a celebration of their campaign for women's right to vote. After many years of picketing, conventions, and strikes, the pressure from the Suffragettes eventually resulted in the 19th Amendment being added to the U.S. Constitution, stating that "The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex." On this design, women hold signs bearing the iconic purple and yellow colors of the movement, with one grappling with a policeman and another asking what the President will do for woman suffrage.
