Vintage Christian Dior Blue Nylon Blend Nightgown Bonwit Teller Women’s Large Union Label Made in the USA Embroidered "Dior" logo on the left upper chest area Single button closure at the top of the neckline, accented with lace and ribbons The care instructions for this refer to using "soap flakes" which might date this to possibly 1950s when soap flakes were commonly used. Bonwit Teller was an American luxury department store in New York City, New York. I am not exactly sure how old this item is, it does not appear to have been worn. The tags are still "crispy" and feel new. The lace has yellowed with time and age. I do not see any flaws on this but keep in mind it's a vintage item! The color is a shade blue but I am not sure what to call it. Please see the photos with light and dark backgrounds, I tried to show the color as best as I could. Your screen may vary. Approximate measurements are: 56" long shoulder to bottom hem, 21" pit to pit across chest, 25" long sleeves with about a 7" upper arm opening You may find a few small tiny fabric picks from where this was stored. I do not see holes, stains, etc. My home is smoke and pet free. This was an estate sale find and will be shipped in the condition it was found.
