Wind Instrument from studying abroad in China

I bought this while studying abroad in China. It was meant to be a gift but I never ended up giving it. It is like a recorder or flute, but it is ceramic and is of course a different shape than a recorder or flute. It’s a woodwind but doesn’t need a reed. I believe it’s a traditional musical instrument from the area I studied in (in the south of China). It’s in brand new condition, never been played. I’ll ship it in a sturdy box with lots of padding so that it will hopefully be safer during shipping.
