This lamp was given to me many, many years ago. I don't know anything about it. The lamp shade feels more like resin, but as you see when the light is on, the colors are bright and beautiful, and when the light is off, it's more muted pastels. The base is metal and sturdy. It's a very nice lamp. It just doesn't match my décor now. *Additional shipping will be charged for weight
