KULE has collaborated with Alix of Bohemia on a limited run of our signature Boyfriend shirt, each hand-embroidered with a daisy motif. Nikki met Alix, who lives in Mallorca, at a shop in NYC. Later, they met up for dinner in Mallorca and that's where their friendship began. Following an event together last fall, the two designers wanted to develop a special product that would incorporate the playful classics of KULE with the handcraft and folk art traditions of Alix of Bohemia. This shirt is a marriage of the two aesthetics. Six daisy appliqué are hand cut, pieced and stitched together in Brooklyn, NY. Each piece is one-of-a-kind and takes 4-6 hours to complete. Shirt itself was made in Portugal.
