Vintage Elegant green bohemian maxi dress. Features lace detailing. Perfect for casual, elegant or boho-chic style. This beautiful dress is from approximately the 1960's - 1970's and features beautiful lace along with a laced up bodice front as shown in the photo. It is fully lined and the actual green/white floral patchwork is a very lightweight cotton. I just laundered this beautiful dress and just touch up ironed the sashes. The tie sash attaches to each side front is a nice wide sash to adorn the back as a long sash or tied up in a bow - however one prefers. The skirt of the dress is fairly full for the carefree look. The bust measures 34 inches from armpit to armpit; waist is a comforntable roomy 30 inches but since the sashes tie and pull it tighter it can be adjusted to much smaller. The skirt is full so the hips are roomy at 40 inches. The length of this maxi dress is about 57 inches from the top of the shoulder to the hem. I could not find any designer tag on this beautiful dress.

Hi there, the bust is 34? so, it’s probably a little bigger with darts. I’m wondering if this is too big. Maybe it’s supposed to be worn with the laces open a little more? My bust is 35-36, 26” waist, so, waist probably not a problem because of the sash. What do you think? I’m a size 4 normally is that a vintage sizing you posted or modern sizing?

I just tried to look up sizing so depending which chart you look at I think. When I had this in my way younger days I was about 5'6" and 110 pounds. I would think based on the bust size you listed it would fit nicely. The tie that goes right under the bust also helps adjust the bustline. The lacing could be worn open a little but just so you know it is open then, but one could wear something strappy under it too. Hope this helps!

@hiyman I guess I’m asking if the bust is actually bigger because of the darts & lacing. we don’t need to look up charts. I am a costume designer, and Seamstress. Typically garments with 34 bust have a a 26 inch waist, definitely can make it smaller by tying the tie in the back for the waist but I’m just wondering if the bust has more room actually making the bust larger than 34“.
Have you tried this on? Does it fit you? What is your bust size? I’m not worried about the waist.

I just got it out again :) I measured the bust again - pit to pit - i measures the 34 but there is a loose raised area about the darts so yes, i think it would fit a little bigger. The lacing in front is adjustable - especially if you wear something under it. Hope these helps! Feel free to ask more questions...it's no bother - Thanks for shopping!
